In a deeply disturbing crime in Virginia, U.S., a 30-year-old man, Joshua Coleman, has confessed to killing both his wife and another man after accusing his spouse of infidelity, according to a criminal complaint obtained by WDBJ.
Coleman fatally shot his 22-year-old wife, Mandy Coleman, during a domestic argument inside their Ridgeway home on July 22. The confrontation escalated when Coleman accused her of cheating, leading him to shoot her in the head.
After murdering his wife, Coleman reportedly sought out 68-year-old William Morey, whom he later gunned down as well. According to the complaint, he claimed he “knew he was going to jail anyway” and decided to kill Morey, although the motive behind this second killing remains unclear.

Authorities from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office said Coleman left Morey’s body in the street, and officers later found Mandy’s body inside their home. The suspect was arrested during a traffic stop, where he was found with both an AR-15 rifle and a handgun. Shockingly, his two young children were also in the car but were found safe and unharmed.
"This is a heartbreaking and tragic situation that has deeply affected two families and our entire community," said Sheriff Wayne Davis. Coleman is now facing two counts of first-degree murder and child abuse. He is being held without bond at the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
As investigations continue, the incident has reignited concerns over domestic violence and gun access in family disputes.
