According to the event organizers, this year’s summit brought together thought leaders, customers, and partners to explore breakthrough SAP innovations with a focus on Business AI integration across sectors.

SAP’s Interim Managing Director for South Africa, Nazia Pillay, stated:

“Organisations are leveraging powerful new technologies and integrated business applications to drive innovation-fuelled growth across the enterprise. The growing power of Business AI is already proving to be a transformative force.”

One of the standout innovations came from Heineken, which introduced Hoppy, an AI chatbot built on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Hoppy allows employees to retrieve business data in under one minute—compared to 15 minutes previously—making internal communication and decision-making significantly faster. Heineken is now exploring task automation and cost-center error detection using AI.
