Former Tottenham and Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has been appointed as the head coach of the USA men’s national soccer team. 

Pochettino, known for his successful stints with top European clubs, will now lead the U.S. into the 2026 World Cup, hosted across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

This marks Pochettino’s first international coaching role, taking over from Gregg Berhalter. His first matches as head coach will be in October, starting with a friendly against Panama in Texas.
