Surfers Enjoy Tahiti Lay Days Before Paris 2024 Resumes
Surfers in Tahiti have been enjoying their lay days as they wait for the Paris 2024 surfing competition to resume.
After great conditions on July 29, competitors had two days off. August 1 is expected to see the return of women's round three and the men's and women's quarter-finals.

During these days off, surfers processed the memorable Monday of barrel riding and heavy Teahupo’o waves.
Many spent their time at the popular river mouth spot at the End of the Road, a well-known landmark an hour's drive from Papeete.
Olympic champion Carissa Moore, world champion Caroline Marks, and other top surfers have been taking advantage of the surf there.
