Poland has introduced a strict new policy, refusing to issue student visas to international applicants who lack a high school diploma. 

The move, announced by Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, aims to curb visa abuse by individuals seeking illegal employment within EU nations.

This policy follows reports that some student visas were granted to those ineligible for college admission in their home countries, leading to misuse of the visas for work purposes. 

Sikorski emphasized the need to protect the integrity of Poland's education system by ensuring that only qualified students receive visas.
