Poland Denies Nationals Involvement in Russian Flag Protests

The Polish government has denied allegations that seven of its citizens participated in protests waving Russian flags in Kano, Nigeria.

Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrzej Szejna, stated that the six students and their teacher were "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The group was reportedly in Nigeria for educational purposes and had no involvement in the protests. 

The incident occurred amidst nationwide demonstrations against economic hardship in Nigeria, with security forces cracking down on participants.

The Polish nationals have since been relocated to Abuja, and the Polish government is working closely with local authorities to resolve the matter.
