Prince Harry released a public statement informing the public that he “had no other option “but to step back from the Royal Family.
This has been a ground-breaking start to 2020 and the world has never seen anything quite like this before. These waters have never been explored, but it seems Harry is making decisions that are the best for his future with his beautiful new family.
During his speech at a charity dinner in London, Harry states that this decision came after months of talks and what seems to be a lot of unhappiness.
Metro reports Prince Harry as stating he felt “great sadness” over the new arrangement. Clearly this is not a decision he made lightly.
It seemed the couple had explored all their options, as Harry’s speech continued with him saying; ‘It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges and I know I haven’t always got it right, but as far as this goes there really was no other option.’
The general consensus is that they are breaking free to sustain the health of their marriage, and that of their young son, Archie. There’s one person that just can’t get behind all of this and not so shockingly, that person is Meghan’s estranged father.
He’s no stranger to the press and People released an extensive report about how incredibly “embarrassed” he is by his daughter’s behavior. He didn’t hold back in his attacks on his own daughter, releasing a statement that said “It’s kind of embarrassing to me,” he said. “When they got married they took on an obligation, and the obligation is to be part of the royals and to represent the royals and it would be foolish for them not to."
“This is like one of the greatest, long-living institutions ever,” Meghan’s father said. “They’re destroying it. They’re cheapening it... turning it into a Walmart with a crown on it.”
