Sports: Man City star Sterling offered £100M endorsement deal
Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has been offered a 100m endorsement deal.
The Telegraph says AirJordan, a subsidiary owned by Nike, want him to be the face of one of the most lucrative boot deals in history. The 24-year-old is in the final year of his current deal with Nike.
AirJordan, which launched back in 1984 in collaboration with NBA star Michael Jordan, has previously been synonymous with endorsing high-profile basketball players and some Major League baseball stars.
Last season they made their first foray into the football market with a collaboration with PSG which saw them manufacture their kits as well as 90 different lifestyle and performance products. They now want to repeat that success by marketing football boots for the first time.
