Lacazette’s emotions needs controlling – Emery says after red card against BATE
Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has said that, although, he didn’t see the action which gave Alexandre Lacazette a red card in the match against BATE on Thursday but that his emotions needs controlling.
The 1-0 defeat to BATE, in the Europa League clash was due to Lacazette’s elbow on Aleksandar Filipovic late on in the match, which ultimately mae the referee show him straight red.
“I didn’t see the action but we spoke and [his] frustration needs controlling. It’s bad news with the red card.
“Next week we aren’t going to play with him but now we are going to think with the players that are OK for next week,” Emery told reporters after the game in Borisov.
Lacazette will miss the return leg, which Arsenal must win by at least two goals to have any chance of going through.
